WITH the heatwave still in a firm grip of the UK, sweaty train journeys and awkward armpit stains have become the norm for hot Brits in recent weeks.

Many of us will have tried layering on deodorant to ward off the dreaded wet patches - or at least mask the embarrassing pong.

If you feel your anti-antiperspirant isn't up to the challenge, you may want to give this product a "swirl".

Odaban is being hailed as one of the most impressive solutions for excessive sweating on the market, with one application lasting up to SEVEN days.

It's received rave reviews online, with around 600 people rating it five stars on Amazon - and shoppers are calling it "life-saving".

The product contains active ingredients that partially block pores, which creates a drying effect on the skin without blocking the sweat glands or causing skin irritation.

It also contains an insoluble aluminium:protein complex, meaning no aluminium is absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream, making it safe to use long-term and during pregnancy.

You can buy it in Boots, pharmacies or on Amazon, but it'll set you back £10.49 - mind you, if you only apply it once a week it's pretty good value for money!

One mum-to-be wrote on Amazon: "Since being pregnant and suffering with haywire hormones I have been struggling with horrendous facial sweating.

"When I say horrendous, I am not exaggerating. I looked constantly like I'd just been stood out in the rain, beads of sweat literally running down my face constantly. It was awful. I went to the GP who didn't really advise anything and certainly didn't seem to grasp how much it was getting me down.

"Out of desperation I googled for products to help and this one came up. I was so relieved to even be potentially trying something that would make a difference. I followed the instructions and applied it at night. It smells quite potent and burns a little if you spray it too close to your face but it isn't unpleasant.

"Left it on all night then washed it off in the morning. By morning two of doing this, I was sweat free. Like totally. Life changer! I have to put it on at least every two days for it to remain effective but I have gone from sporting the drowned rat look to looking as cool as a cucumber (a refrigerated one) and I feel so much happier not having to battle with those awful sweats."

Another happy customer wrote: "FANTASTIC! Received this item yesterday and I wasn't too sure if it would work or not. Followed the instructions by spraying it onto totally dry skin under my arms at bed time.

"I have been at work all day in the office (and we are having a heat wave in Scotland) and I do not have one sweat patch under my arms which is very unusual. I wish I had found this item years ago to save all the embarrassment of huge wet patches on my clothing."

Funeral consultant Katy Fuentes, 42, had also suffered for years from excessive sweating from her head, making her hair and skin look and feel wet.

She explained: "In my job it’s so important for people to see a calm, collected, together person talking to them during one of the most difficult times in their lives.

"I was so conscious that I looked a mess, through no fault of my own! Now I don't have to worry about facing people one-to-one or being in public with wet hair or a sweaty face. Odaban totally changed my life. I recommend it to everyone.”
